We are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager with strong technical and operational skills for our Operations department (industrial assembly and industrial relocation). As a Site Manager, you are responsible for on-site monitoring of the various construction sites.

Your tasks as an experienced Site Manager:

• As a site manager, you work closely with the project manager and provide support where necessary.
• You are responsible for a large part of the project preparation: translating the customer’s wishes into a technically feasible implementation plan, risk analyses, etc.
• Before and during the work, you provide the project manager with updates on the progress of the project to ensure organisational requirements and quality standards are met.
• Based on the information obtained from the customer, you pass on potential leads to the Project Manager.
• As a site manager, you are responsible for managing your team on site.
• As a site manager, you supervise and guarantee safety on construction sites and ensure all the work runs smoothly and according to plan.

In this position, you will work on site on projects in various sectors. You report to the Project Manager.

Your profile

We are looking for a sociable team player with a positive mindset who is passionate about technical, mechanical work/industrial assembly. You have good knowledge of plan reading, aligning and manipulating machines and equipment. You are a communicative leader who knows how to motivate, support and manage a team when necessary. You take responsibility, have a no-nonsense mentality and adopt a solution-oriented attitude.

The profile requirements:

• Experience as a site manager in a technical environment (preferably in industrial relocations/heavy lifting).
• Strong communication skills in Dutch. Knowledge of other languages is an asset.
• Proficient at working with a computer (including MS Office).
• VOL VCA certificate.
